People living in our residential care service know that support staff value them and promote their full independence. Everyone is treated with courtesy and respect and we ensure you are personally involved in any decisions that affect you.
We make every effort to create a homely environment. The living room, dining room and kitchen are shared only with your small group. All rooms are wheelchair accessible with en suite showers and you can decorate your room as you like. Meals are provided or you can cook for yourself with our support if you like.
Everyone takes part in lifeskills training which can include household tasks, menu planning, shopping, healthy eating, personal care, taking medication, money management and social activities. You can also take part in a range of activities offered on our Skills & Activities programme from catering to creative arts.
We’ve seen many people gain enough confidence and skills to move on from residential care to supported living and even independent accommodation in the local community.
